Annoyance
It’s very frustrating, I can tell you, that when you consider yourself to be a pretty darned good backgammon player (and indeed an even better teacher) you can end up coming across a computer program that – more often than not – will wipe the floor with you.
So… damn you GNU Backgammon! Damn you to heck.

Yeeeees. I have the same problem with go software. Computers are much worse at playing go than humans, partly because the skills required are much more complicated than the simple decision trees of chess, and partly because of developer neglect. I, it would seem, am much worse than computers.
