It’s the “cheap car, pricey stereo” mentality, isn’t it?

And relating to Pandemonia’s post, there is a theory that the Ark of the Covenant, of Indiana Jones and Jew fame, was actually a dry capacitor that collected static electricity from the hung fabrics of the tabernacle, hence its ability to kill on contact with a blinding flash.

Worth remembering that he?��Ǩ�Ѣs probably part of the Energy Efficiency brigade. Clothing that produces static ?��Ǩ�� gold to conduct it efficiently and salts and acids to enable conduction. He was probably generating more power than the bus for the time he was on there.
