It's the "cheap car, pricey stereo" mentality, isn't it?

And relating to Pandemonia's post, there is a theory that the Ark of the Covenant, of Indiana Jones and Jew fame, was actually a dry capacitor that collected static electricity from the hung fabrics of the tabernacle, hence its ability to kill on contact with a blinding flash.

Worth remembering that he?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s probably part of the Energy Efficiency brigade. Clothing that produces static ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú gold to conduct it efficiently and salts and acids to enable conduction. He was probably generating more power than the bus for the time he was on there.

On the other hand ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú generating static electricity?¢‚Ǩ¬¶ a Dalek plan perhaps?

Why didn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t you just borrow a lighter and put him out of everyone?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s misery? It would have taken only a seconds work and there would have been no evidence as shell suits burn at over 100000C
