I too am looking for a place to live. However, I am looking to sublet and move in with an existing collective, so on top of seeing places that are way to small and/or damp, when I do see somewhere I like I then have to pass muster with 3 strangers.

So far they all hate my face.

I can assure you, Pandemonia, that a garden with ample space for a barbecue is definitely near the top of our list of priorities!

Emma, that sounds really sucky – you have my sympathy.

But do fight the likelihood of a return to parentals though! Never go back!

Try and get somewhere really nice with a good sized garden with a barbeque. Of course I’m only thinking of the benefit to me… poor me without a garden!

oh dear, flat hunting sucks…I rent a room in a house and the landlord has just got planning permission to turn the place into proper flats….not that he let us know, so i could get my 4 weeks notice any day now, grrrr, not that I can afford anything else of course and at the grand old age of 28 i may have to return to the parentals…and even worse the burbs
