// About Me

Robert Michael John Morris was born in Coventry in the very early hours of a Thursday morning and has recently woken up to find himself officially the wrong side of 30.

Quite where the intervening years went he couldn’t say, but it’s probably a good thing he can’t remember.

He loves pop culture in general, but he is far too obsessed with Doctor Who for it to be good for him. Thankfully he does love other shows too. (Try The Avengers, Century Falls and Coupling to name a few.)

He also suspects he is the only person in the world – including its creator – who likes Chalk but that just means even Steven Moffat can be wrong occasionally.

When it comes to musical taste Rob’s can only be described as “camp”, with his favourite artists including The Human League, Kylie, Dragonette, Pet Shop Boys, ABBA, BWO and Girls Aloud. This is, however, tempered with more challenging material from the likes of Garbage, Ladytron, Client, the Readers Wifes and the Divine Comedy.

If he’s totally honest, however, he’s still happiest when singing along to “Kinky Boots” or “Windmill in Old Amsterdam”.

Rob’s favourite comedian is Eddie Izzard (with Rita Rudner as a close second) and his favourite author is Christopher Rice (with Bill Bryson a creditable runner up).

If asked (which he never is) Rob will also happily state that his favourite film is Clue.

He also has a worrying tendency to write about himself in the third person so it’s probably quicker to just assume he’s an arse.
